Cathal is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated with Honours from the University of Limerick in 2017. Since qualifying Cathal has worked in a variety of clinical settings. After graduating Cathal initially worked in an acute hospital setting treating post-operative orthopaedic patients. Cathal has a wealth of experience in treating stubborn, chronic pain and helping people improve their quality of life. He takes great pleasure in helping clients who have been debilitated due to pain, to return to the activities they enjoy. Cathal takes a patient centred approach to treatment, tailoring management to the specific needs of the patient based on their presentation and complaints.
Cathal has a keen interest in sports and has worked with many sports teams (Gaelic Football, Hurling, Soccer, Rugby). Utilising his background in sports, Cathal enjoys treating sports injuries and facilitating rehabilitation to help players return to pre-injury levels of performance. Identifying factors contributing to injuries, use of manual therapies, progressive exercise prescription and sports specific return to play rehabilitation are some of the methods he likes to utilise.

Cathal has always spent much of his free time involved in sports. He continues to play Gaelic football with his local GAA club and also enjoys playing golf in his spare time. He also has a keen interest in soccer, hurling and rugby.
