As we reopen the clinic to the public again we are following best clinical practice as outlined to us by the government through the HSA, the HSE and the HPSC. We are also mindful of the WHO guidelines and guidelines from our own professional body the ISCP and CORU. Our priority at all times is the health and safety of our staff and clients and of the general community. To this end we have made some changes to how our appointments take place and we have introduced new policies of physical distancing, hygiene and sanitising. Hand sanitiser is available in each room and at the reception area.

All consultations within the clinic are by appointment only and can be made by telephone.

Prior to the Appointment

All clients will be asked some screening questions and if you have been unwell or have any respiratory symptoms or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 in the previous 2 weeks we would ask you to postpone your visit to us. If you are in an “at risk” health group we would suggest we start with a telehealth consultation.
You will receive a confirmation email if you book through our website. You will also receive a reminder text message the day prior to your appointment.

On the Day of your Appointment

We would ask you to call us when you arrive outside and wait in your car until your therapist and room are ready. Please leave personal belongings in the car if possible eg. coat, bag, bottle etc. When you enter the clinic you will be asked to wash your hands and be brought immediately to your room where you will be provided with a clean mask of HSE standard as required for all health interactions. Your therapist will also be wearing a mask and or visor. The contact time within each appointment will be kept to a minimum. Our treatment rooms are large enough to be further than 2 metres apart for initial part of the consultation. Each treatment time will adhere strictly to a half hour session. This allows time for cleaning of rooms and all contact points and good flow of people in and out of the clinic between appointments to avoid as much contact as possible with other people.

Payment

If it is possible we would ask you to prepay for your appointment over the phone or use contactless payment at the front desk.
